Is this the right time to sell my house?
Consider the season and the weather in your decision. Generally, the real estate market picks up in the early spring after the winter months.

How much is my home worth?
An appraisal and comparative market analysis are your best indicators. Your realtor can help you arrange both of these.

Should I make repairs before putting the house on the market?
If you make minor repairs before putting the house on the market, you may get a better sales price.

What should I do to get my house ready to market?
Declutter countertops, walls, rooms, etc. Clutter hinders the buyer from seeing how their furniture, etc., will look in the house. Clean and organize the rooms, above all, clean the bathroom and kitchen. Closets should be in good order. Adding a pleasing fragrance to the air will create a homey atmosphere.

For the exterior, mow the lawn, trim bushes, get debris out of the yard. First impressions (curb appeal) can determine whether or not the buyer will even want to look inside the house.

What to do if my house isn’t getting activity?
Consider lowering the price. Make any cosmetic changes that may have hindered the sale. Increase the open house opportunities.
